Brian White scored a 95th minute stunner to equalize the score at 1 a piece against Orlando City Sunday night at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. The goal was White’s second of the season and saw the Red Bulls rally late in the second consecutive game.
Caden Clark nearly became the eighth MLS player to score in his first three starts when his strike went bust over the crossbar from 25 yards out in the 15th minute.
Orlando started the scoring off in the 56th minute after Daryl Dike was tripped in the box by Red Bulls defender Amro Tarek. Nani stepped up and, after a couple of false moves, caught Ryan Meara diving the wrong way to stop his penalty kick. The ex-Manchester United legend struck a curler to the left while Meara dove to his right.

The game looked signed, sealed and delivered until the five minutes into stoppage time. The Red Bulls won a corner and the goalkeeper Meara ran up to add an extra body in the already crowded Orlando box. After a couple shot attempts were blocked by all the bodies in the box, the ball found its way to White who was 7 yards out from goal. He chipped it up to himself, did a 180 to face goal and beat keeper Brian Rowe, finding the bottom left corner of the net.

The result keeps New York in 7th place with 25 points. Next on the docket is a trip to the Windy City to face the Chicago Fire Saturday night.
